Filipino Nurses Association-Nordic is a Non-Profit Organisation which aims in empowering Filipino Internationally Educated Nurses living in the Nordic Region. Founded on October 1, 2018, via social media platform to address the needs of Filipino Nurses and help attain the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) living in the Nordic Region. Our main chapter is in Finland and three others are located in Denmark, Norway and Iceland.
The only international non-profit nursing association for Filipino migrants nurses with clear Vision, Mission and Strategic Goals.
We seek to collaborate with other academic institutions and organisations that address the needs of the vulnerable groups in society.
Our board members and representatives are highly-skilled and academically inclined with experience in education, management and clinical environment in the Nordic Region
We organize an Annual General Assembly in different parts of the Nordic Region to discuss the most pressing issues in public health. The first AGM was held in Helsinki, Finland last September 7-8, 2019 at Oodi Libray. It was the first and historical gathering of Filipino Nurses in the Nordic Region attended by calibre speakers in the field of health industry including nurses, academicians and medical doctor.
